Presentation of the Havana Books Fair
Galicia will be an honour guest at the 2008 FILH, the Havana International Book Fair. It will be the first time that a culture which does not have a state of its own is awarded this distinction. The video shows some moments of the presentation of the Galician participation in the fair, which took place at the Galician Centre for Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela on 18 January. Speakers: Xosé Neira Vilas, a Galician writer who spent years in exile in Cuba; the Head of the Galician Department of Culture and Sports, Ánxela Bugallo, and the Vice-President of the Galician Government, Anxo Quintana.
